This privacy notice explains, in accordance with Regulation 679/2016 (hereinafter “GDPR”), how Tagura One processes your personal data while you use our website (https://tagura.one).

We process the following categories of personal data:

  • Identification Data: When you create an account, we process your email address and other account details via our authentication provider (Auth0).
  • Tag Activation Data: When you activate a tag, we collect the Tag ID, Activation Code, and Nickname you provide to link the tag to your account.
  • Browsing and Usage Data: When you visit our website, we collect information about your visit, such as your IP address, device type, which pages you visit, and how you interact with our site. This is collected via Google Analytics.
  • Cookies: We use two types of cookies:
    • Strictly Necessary Cookies: These are used by our authentication provider (Auth0) to keep you logged in and secure your session. These are essential for the site to work.
    • Analytics Cookies: These are used by Google Analytics to help us understand how visitors use our website. These are only set if you give us your consent.

How data are collected

  • We collect your Identification Data when you voluntarily sign up for an account.
  • We collect your Tag Activation Data when you voluntarily submit the activation form.
  • We collect Browsing and Usage Data via Google Analytics as you browse our website, only if you have given your consent.
  • We collect Strictly Necessary Cookies (from Auth0) when you log in to your account. The processing of this data is necessary for the correct functioning of the services.

Purpose of the processing and legal basis

We process your data for the following purposes:

  • To provide and manage your account: This includes creating your account and authenticating you when you log in.
    Legal Basis: The performance of a contract (Art 6.1(b) GDPR).
  • To activate and link your tag to your account: This allows you to manage your tag from your dashboard.
    Legal Basis: The performance of a contract (Art 6.1(b) GDPR).
  • To answer your requests for information: If you contact us, we use your data to respond.
    Legal Basis: Our legitimate interest (Art 6.1(f) GDPR) to provide customer service.
  • To analyze and improve our website: We use Google Analytics to understand what pages are popular and how to improve the user experience.
    Legal Basis: Your consent (Art 6.1(a) GDPR).

Processing methods

Your personal data is processed using both automated and electronic tools (such as by our service providers Auth0 and Google Analytics) and, where necessary, manually.

Recipients of the data

We may share your personal data with the following categories of recipients:

  • Service Providers: We use third-party companies to provide our service. These include:
    • Netlify: Our website hosting provider.
    • Auth0: Our authentication and user management provider.
    • Google: Our website analytics provider.
  • Authorized Personnel: Vedran Podvalej, for the purpose of maintaining the service and providing support.

Data transfers

We use service providers (Netlify, Auth0, and Google) that may be based in the United States or other countries outside the European Union (EU). When your data is transferred outside the EU, we rely on legal safeguards, such as Standard Contractual Clauses approved by the European Commission, to ensure your data is protected.

Data storage

We retain your personal data only for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes for which we collected it. We will keep your account data for as long as your account is active. If you request account deletion, we will delete your personal data in a timely manner.

Data subject’s rights

You can exercise the rights set out in articles 15 et seq. of the Regulation at any time including:

  • a) The right of access;
  • b) The right to rectification;
  • c) The right to erasure (you can request the deletion of your account and personal data by emailing support@tagura.one);
  • d) The right to restrict processing;
  • e) The right to object to processing;
  • f) The right to data portability;
  • g) The right to withdraw the consent: You can withdraw your consent for analytics tracking at any time via our cookie settings banner.
  • h) The right to complain before the competent supervisory Authority.

If you wish to raise a complaint, you can contact the Irish Data Protection Commission (DPC), which is our designated supervisory authority.
